How to tell if my baby is teething?
These are common signs of teething:
- Excessive Drooling
- Swollen, bulging gums
- A tooth visible below the gum or white mark
- Irritability and grumpiness
- Trouble sleeping or frequent wak
- Trying to bite, chew, and suck on everything
- Rubbing her face
- Red cheeks
- Rejecting food or drink
- Grabbing her ears or hair
- Loose bowel motions however If your baby has diarrhea, a fever, or a runny nose, don't dismiss it as a sign of teething, especially if the symptoms last longer than 24 hours, its best to get checked by a professional.

Will teething effect my breast feeding? Maybe, baby might reduce feeds or refuse while cutting teeth. Missing a feed or halving a feed is nothing to worry about, keep an eye on wet nappies to make sure they are well hydrated. My baby has white lumps on their gums but I cant tell if its teeth.... First check its not food, milk ect, then feel gently for the texture of the surface. Some times teeth can appear white, but it is rare. Most white lumps can be blisters from he breaking skin, thrush or other fungal infections, or foot and mouth virus.
